The First Annual Music is Life Festival will be held at Bryan's Grove on September 9th 2006 ! The festival's goal is to promote cancer awareness through great local music and a good time!Bryan's Grove is on Old Lewistown Pike near the 322 / 144 intersection in Spring Mills, PA 16875.

SEPTEMBER 9TH... DON'T FORGET!
The excitement and fanfare is over, but I wanted to let the planners (Kathy, Jim, Amy, Bryan, Chris, Duffy and others) know how great this event was for everyone. Walt is a dear friend to more people than we can collectively count on our hands and toes--and this Saturday in September gave some of them a chance to be part of something bigger than they could ever do alone. You all obviously manifest your love and affection in a very tangible way--and best of all, it was fun as hell. My sense is that Walt and his family got way more out of it emotionally than any intended financial impact. I guess we all would like to have a group of family and friends such as yourselves. Bravo!
This concert was one of the highlights of my summer. It seems everytime I am with the Witmers I hate to leave. I am so blessed to have them as friends and their friends as friends. I appreciate everything the planners did, especially giving us a chance to do something meaningful for those in need. The music was wonderful, especially the late night jam. I could listen to more of that anytime - guess I will have to be at Merlefest next year. It is so true that Music IS Life. Thanks again. MSS
